Do any of these sound familiar when it comes to your beloved dog or cat?

  • Hoping they will eat more enthusiastically

  • Wanting them to enjoy walks with energy

  • Beginning to worry about age-related changes

  • Concerned about their bowel movements

  • Wanting them to stay healthy and active

To stay healthy and energetic
"Immunity" is very important.

As pets grow older, their immune function naturally declines. In addition, lack of exercise, unbalanced nutrition, and hormonal changes can further weaken immunity.
This is true not only for dogs and cats, but for humans as well. To maintain energy and overall health, a strong immune system plays an essential role.

What is immunity?
It is the body's fighting power, and its power to judge what is good and what is bad for the body.

We humans also make an effort to take in proper nutrition.
And when we eat something spoiled, our bodies react by vomiting or having diarrhea to push it out.
This is because the immune system is working properly, recognizing harmful substances and fighting against them.

When the immune system is well balanced, the body can absorb what it needs and eliminate what it doesn’t.
This ability comes from the body’s own natural defense system.

In other words, a healthy immune system is essential for maintaining overall health.
Supporting and balancing immunity is one of the most important things we can do for our beloved family members.

What matters most is now, while they are still healthy and energetic.

When your dog or cat enters their senior years and you start to worry about their health, this is the time we hope you will begin thinking about supportive care.
Most people don’t give much thought to these things when their pets are young and healthy, it’s completely natural.

There are also many cases where supplements are introduced only after owners feel there is nothing more they can do.
Of course, even then, we receive many voices saying, “Thanks to the supplements, my pet is able to spend their days more comfortably.”

However, when eating itself becomes difficult, giving supplements can also become a challenge.
This can place a significant burden not only on dogs and cats, but on their owners as well.

Rather than thinking, “They’re still healthy, so it’s probably fine,”
we strongly recommend starting while they are healthy and doing well.

Because we want to stay together with our beloved dogs and cats for as long as possible.
Let’s start thinking about their immune health.

Cordy G・M – A Supplement for Dogs and Cats

Cordy is a health maintenance supplement made from cultivated Japanese Cordyceps (冬虫夏草:a medicinal mushroom traditionally used to support vitality and immunity).
It supports overall health and helps maintain immune balance in dogs and cats, from early life through their senior years.

Cordy is manufactured entirely in Japan at a factory compliant with Health Food GMP standards, with integrated production from cultivation to bottling, ensuring safety and reliability.
It is also used by over 300 veterinary clinics nationwide.

A supplement made from cultivated Japanese Cordyceps sinensis

Cordy is a supplement made from cultivated natural Cordyceps sinensis grown in Japan.
DNA identification tests at the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China's largest microbiology research institute, have proven that the DNA is 100% identical to that of the bacteria isolated from Cordyceps sinensis from Yunnan and Tibet.

Reliable quality that has passed rigorous safety tests

We carry out all manufacturing processes from cultivation to bottling in a factory that complies with health food GMP, and various safety tests are carried out at GLP-compliant institutions to ensure the safety of our products.
In addition, we regularly conduct DNA tests to prove that we are cultivating the Cordyceps fungus.
Additionally, because mushrooms are believed to be easily contaminated by radiation, regular radiation testing is also conducted.

Trusted and recommended by veterinarians

Cordy has a proven track record and is used in over 300 veterinary clinics across the country.
In addition, it is recommended by many famous veterinarians, including Dr. Arai, director of Ai Animal Hospital, so you can use it with confidence.

Choosing Between the Two Cordy Products

For dogs that tend to breathe rapidly or have a history of epileptic seizures, we recommend Cordy M (Blue).

For cats and dogs other than brachycephalic breeds, Cordy G (with Organic Germanium) (Orange) is recommended.

If body temperature rises and breathing becomes slightly faster, gently cooling the underarm area with an ice pack can help calm the dog.

Note: If a dog has ever experienced an epileptic seizure, Cordy G may cause faster breathing, so Cordy M is recommended as a precaution.

For Pets That Are Sensitive to Taste or Have Poor Appetite

When Cordy is sprinkled directly onto food, pets that are sensitive to taste may lose interest in their meals or stop eating altogether.

In such cases, measure out one day’s dose of Cordy and add a small amount of water. Knead it into a paste, then form it into 5–7 small bite-sized balls.
Feed one ball every 2–3 hours, giving it directly by hand.

You can apply it to the upper palate (the roof of the mouth) or gently place it toward the back of the cheek to help your pet swallow.

Some owners also mix Cordy into strong-smelling foods, or blend it with treats such as Churu-style paste snacks, so it goes unnoticed.

In some cases, pets feel more at ease when their owner tastes it first and says, “It’s tasty!”
Feel free to try different methods and see what works best for your dog or cat.

Because it’s something your beloved dog or cat takes.

The only GMP certified "Cordyceps sinensis product"

In Japan, pharmaceuticals are required to comply with GMP, but supplements are not.
However, at Monolith, we carry out all processes from cultivation to bottling in our own factory that complies with health food GMP, and we strive to deliver safe and secure products to everyone.

Monolith's Cordyceps sinensis products are the only domestically produced Cordyceps sinensis products that comply with GMP standards from cultivation to manufacturing.

In addition, a wide range of safety tests are conducted to ensure product reliability.

  • Acute toxicity testing (tests for harmful effects after a single dose)

  • Subacute toxicity testing (tests for effects from repeated intake over a short period)

  • Ames test (a mutagenicity test that checks whether a substance may cause genetic mutations)

  • Genotoxicity and other safety evaluations (tests to confirm no damage to genetic material)

  • Regular DNA identification testing (to confirm that the cultivated Cordyceps is genetically identical to the original strain)

  • Routine radiation testing (required to certify that products are free from radioactive contamination, especially for overseas export)

It's also recommended by veterinarians.

Cordy is currently used by over 300 veterinary clinics nationwide.

Ai Animal Hospital (Saitama City)

Message from Director Dr. Arai

“Because Cordy places very little burden on the body, it can be safely used even for animals with fragile health or for senior animals.

At our hospital, many pet owners come to us seeking ways to maintain their pets’ energy levels and appetite while placing as little strain on their bodies as possible.

Cordy causes minimal physical stress, making it a safe option for animals with weakened conditions and for elderly dogs and cats.

When the goal is to support vitality and appetite without burdening the body, I believe Cordy offers significant value for both dogs and cats.”

Shioda Animal Hospital (Suginami, Tokyo)

Message from Director Dr. Shioda

“What makes Cordy truly exceptional is that it can be given immediately after surgery.

At our hospital, we receive requests from across Japan for complex and difficult surgical procedures.
In treatment, what we value most is minimizing pain for dogs and cats while simultaneously making every possible effort to treat conditions that can be cured.

One of Cordy’s greatest strengths is that it can be administered right after surgery and helps animals maintain their vitality even when facing serious illness.

Since encountering Cordy, the range of treatment options available to us has expanded significantly.
To help pets spend meaningful, quality time with their beloved families, I highly recommend Cordy.”

💡 Frequently Asked Questions About Cordy 💡

Q: What kind of supplement is Cordy?

A:
Cordy is a supplement designed to support the health of dogs and cats.
As pets age, their immune function may decline, which can affect their overall vitality and appetite. Cordy is recommended to help maintain health, energy, and appetite during the senior years.

It is also suitable not only for senior pets, but for pets that are physically weak or prone to illness.
Cordy can be used alongside treatments such as anticancer drugs (chemotherapy), steroids, and antibiotics, even in pets with conditions such as tumors, lymphoma, melanoma, sarcoma, FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), or FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus).

Q: Can all pets take Cordy?

A:
Immune health is essential for maintaining overall well-being in both humans and pets. We recommend trying Cordy for about one month and observing changes in your pet’s condition or test results.

Cordy has passed strict safety tests, and there is no concern about side effects.
It can be safely given not only to healthy pets for daily wellness, but also to senior pets with reduced energy or appetite, and to pets with fragile health, as it places minimal burden on the body.

Q: Are preservatives or additives used?

A:
Certain additives may negatively affect immune health. Cordy contains no preservatives or additives of concern.
It also contains no flavorings, taste enhancers, sweeteners, sugars, colorants, bleaching agents, or artificial coloring agents.

Q: Has safety been confirmed?

A:
Yes. Cordy has passed multiple safety tests, including acute toxicity tests, subacute toxicity tests, Ames tests (mutagenicity tests that check for genetic damage), and genotoxicity tests.
In addition, veterinarians who use Cordy have not reported any safety issues.

Q: What is Cordyceps?

A:
Cordyceps is a type of mushroom that grows by parasitizing insects. There are several hundred known species worldwide.
Cordyceps has a long history and is said to have been used by figures such as Qin Shi Huang and Yang Guifei in ancient China.

Cordy is made using naturally occurring Japanese Cordyceps that our staff personally collect and cultivate.

Q: Are all Cordyceps supplements the same?

A:
No. The effectiveness of Cordyceps supplements varies depending on the species, freshness of the strain, and cultivation method.
Monolith cultivates Cordyceps in its own GMP-compliant factory and has accumulated many usage cases.

Research findings can be viewed on the Cordy Research Lab website.

As of April 2019, Monolith Cordyceps products are the only domestically produced Cordyceps supplements in Japan manufactured entirely under GMP standards—from cultivation to final product.

Q: I’m worried about taste, smell, and palatability.

A:

For dogs:
Cordy is not tasteless or odorless, but it does not have the bitterness typical of herbal medicines. Most dogs will eat it when mixed with food.
If appetite is poor, dissolve it in water and administer using a dropper or syringe.

For cats:
Cats are often more sensitive, and feeding may require some creativity. Divide the daily amount into smaller portions, add a little water, knead into small balls, and divide into several servings.
Apply it to the upper palate (roof of the mouth) or gently place it inside the cheek pouch.

Alternatively, start with 1/10 of the recommended daily amount to help your cat adjust, or administer directly with a dropper.
Some cats will accept it when mixed with bonito flakes, a small amount of honey or milk, or wrapped in wet food. Some owners also use syringes, edible films, or empty capsules.

Q: What is the recommended dosage?

A:
For general health maintenance, the guideline is 0.04 g to 0.4 g per kg of body weight per day, but giving a slightly higher amount is encouraged.
For senior pets or pets that are virus carriers, a minimum of 0.1 g per kg of body weight per day is recommended.

Q: Can Cordy be given together with medications or other supplements?

A:
Yes, there are no issues with concurrent use. Many pets undergoing chemotherapy or steroid treatment take Cordy simultaneously.

If your veterinarian advises against combining medications and supplements, please inform them that Cordy has undergone extensive safety testing.
However, if using adsorbents for kidney disease (such as activated charcoal, Nefguard, or Kremezin), allow at least one hour between administrations.
